Welcome to the blog for New Buffalo Middle School and High School Art Department! This space is designed to showcase the work our artists are creating in New Buffalo Area Schools.

I have been teaching secondary art since 2012 when I graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan in Visual Art and Dance Education. I believe in developing a well-rounded arts curriculum with diverse media and community connections. In my personal work, I specialize in watercolor, drawing, photography, and pottery.

Outside of teaching art, I enjoy long-distance running, cycling, birding, and gardening with my husband, Derek, as well as going on walks outside with our cat, Sprout.
